By virtue of that one portion, creatures are merciful to one another, such that even the mare lifts her hooves away from her foal, fearing she may step on it."

The Messenger of God (may peace be upon him) said:
"Whoever has the following four characteristics is a pure munafiq (hypocrite). And whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one of the characteristics of hypocrisy: Whenever he is entrusted, he betrays. Whenever he speaks, he lies. Whenever he makes a promise, he breaks it. And whenever he argues he behaves very badly." The above Hadith was narrated by 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr in Sahih Bukhari and Muslim
