Default Qur' ran (spelling?)

Just out of curiosity, what happened before the Qur' ran?
I have been told many things, but i got sick of it and figured I would ask someone who actually believes in Islam.

Thanks

Like when?

Thanks

My understanding is that Mohammed wrote the Qur' ran, so what existed before the Qur' ran to point people towards God?

Well, the sequence goes as follows:

First, God sent the message to Moses, and judaism was created, the book of judaism was the Torah or the old testament..

And then, God sent the message to Jesus, and the new testament was created too..

The final message was sent to Mohamed, and the final book was the Qu'ran

We aslo believe jews and christians have distorted their messages, and that Jesus came when the jews went distorting their book and religion..
Mohamed was also sent when the ENTIRE humanity was suffering from a "lack" of faith..

The Qur'an was sent to Mohamed as the final testament, and the one which combines and complement the previous two messages, i.e. judaism and christianity..

I hope that was useful

Muslim believe the first Prophet was Adam… he was the first human Allah created… and there where many more Prophets after him, ending in Muhammad… not all of them brought scripture… and not all of the Prophets are mentioned in the Qur’an…
