Would anybody here give their opinions on the "best" translation of the Qur'an and the most literal one.

I would recommend one with an English commentary, such as The Holy Quran: Arabic Text, English Translation and Commentary or The Holy Qur'an: Text, Translation, and Commentary by Yusef Ali
