A nice talk by Moez Masoud to Muslims and non-Muslims from Denmark on Youtube
http://youtube.com/watch?v=zDJVUnX0rwQ It's only around 5 minutes, but it conveys a nice message, especially to non-Muslims, as it was around a year ago following the cartoons crisis in Denmark, on the importance of knowing others and understanding them Peace and all the best

Thank you for pointing us to that beautiful video. The message is not especially to non-Muslims, but to people in general. The cartoon crisis in Denmark has in essence nothing to do with religion. Just difference in culture, values and moral. The people drawing and publishing the cartoons did not know that they could hurt people at the other site of the world. These cartoons where only mend to be published and viewed in western europe. The people bringing these cartoons to places where they hurt people made a terrible mistake and are actually the ones that show no respect to Islam what so-ever. These people should first have gone to the publishers and tell them that a lot of people can get hurt if they see such cartoons. The people that got offended by the cartoons, act in a manor that is not worth a well thinking human being. It is alright to be angry, but transforming anger in to hate, make things only worse.
But again the message in the video shows that there are well mannered people, both in Western Europe as in the Islamic World. |
