Neighbors
Up to Seven Doors Away a Muslim must be good to his neighbors, no matter their religion. But the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us that a “neighbor” is not just the one next door but includes all those up to seven doors away - effectively a whole neighborhood. This concern for our neighbors can take many forms. It means to ensure that our neighbors have the basic necessities, for a Muslim should not eat if his or her neighbor is going hungry. It means that Muslims should wish for their neighbors what they wish for themselves. It means sharing their happiness and sorrow. Further, it means to not spy on them and respect their privacy, to not gossip about them, to not harm them in any way, and to keep common use areas — such as apartment building entrances, streets and sidewalks — clean. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was told of a woman who prayed and fasted a lot and gave alms generously, but whose neighbors complained of her abusive tongue. He said that she would be in Hellfire. When he was told of another woman who did not do all those extra acts of worship but whose neighbors were happy with her, he said that she would be in Paradise. Thus we see the importance of being good to our neighbors, both in actions and words. Neighbors

Exploring Islam The World's Second Biggest Religion Also Is a Way of Life By Carolyn Ruff Special to The Washington Post Islam is an ancient religion with profound historical and theological ties to Judaism and Christianity. All three religions worship the same God, acknowledge large parts of the same Bible and revere Adam, Noah, Abraham and Moses. And, as do Christians, Muslims regard Jesus as the messiah. In fact, Islam teaches that it represents the modern mainstream of a primordial, monotheistic religion that began with the earliest humans. Over millennia, the religion took form with the early Jewish prophets, was modified significantly by Jesus and finally shaped by Muhammad, the final prophet, who died in 632. http://www.islamfortoday.com/exploring_islam.htm

Quote:
Where you say, Islam has followed Jewish and Christian Thoelogy closely, what does that mean? Do you have something against Hindu, Seikh or any other religious philosophy? Why have a, 'theology', within the faith you belive? does your Heart, Soul and Mind not tell you what is right and wrong, or can we all be influenced by others to easily. Would I be influenceing by saying we all have the same spiritual equality and potential, or would I be speaking from my Heart, Soul and Mind ( just being honest)? Or perhaps that is just a 'THEOLOGY'? I give up, to be honest. Individuals receive power and think they are greater, some are born into power, some are voted into power, but the same RULES exist, I am sure you know what they are. Love Rules, Common sense rules etc..I give up preaching because I think their are others around me who think they are greater, which proves to me certain things, when I try and say we are all equal. So what do these individuals think about you or your child or your neighbour?

Muslims, Christians and Jews believe that God's true religion is Monotheism
This is a basic background on who God is, if of interest, which is different from Hindu and Sikh beliefs: What do Muslims believe about Allah? . http://www.beconvinced.com/en/article.php?articleid=0002&subcatname=Selected%20A rticles

Depends how you look at it I presume and from a personal perspective.
Monotheism is not God's religion, it would be the religion of those you state. But if you take into account a saying, ' You are of God, Intelligent Energy, A Biological Shell and A Mind to Harness the Two Pure Intelligence is that of God and that OF you' (you being all mankind, man, woman and child, the Monotheism is right as the collectice of all beings would be one God. Now if your on about 'God' as a supreme entity of Energy the creator from the beginning of time, then minds I personally believe have to come more open. You may have energy as in, what shall we say, creator of biological life one earth, that creator, might not be as Godly as his/her creator, but would obviously have the same potential as the creator of all things, but could be millions of years from acheiving that level. Hindu religion is a great religion, as all are.

I have nothing against the Hindu religion
In fact, according to this article, Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is mentioned in Hindu Scriptures: One of the amazing prophecies in these Hindu scriptures is the one on the tongue of Maharshi Vyasa, a Hindu saint, that states that the land of Arabs will be corrupted by the evil doers — maybe a reference to the pre-Islamic pagans; and that Mahamad — a slight adulteration of the name Muhammad — will come and guide those who went astray. He will be circumcised, bearded, eloquent; he will create a great revolution; he will announce the call for prayers; he will eat of the meat of lawful animals but not of the swine; and he will fight against irreligious nations. All these descriptions meet Prophet Muhammad (Vidyarthi). Prophet Muhammad in Hindu Scriptures
