Who does God Love?

This thread will try to answer this question from The Qur'an and Hadith, which may be of interest


There are at least 7 attributes of believers whom Allah loves mentioned in the Qur'an

Here is the first

1- The Doers of Good (Al-Muhsinoun)

And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.

(2:195)

A second quote from The Qur'an on the Doers of Good:

Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good

2- The Pious (Al-Muttakun)

This is the second group of believers mentioned in The Qur'an whom Allah loves: those who fear Allah

But yes, whoever fulfills his commitment and fears Allah - then indeed, Allah loves those who fear Him. (3:76)

3- The Just (Al-Muqsteen)

And if you judge, judge between them with justice. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

(5:42)

The fourth group of believers whom Allah loves are the purified

4- Al-Muttahirun (The purified)

A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves.

(9:108)

They are pure, they have pure hearts, and they repent when they sin to be purified from sins

The next group of believers mentioned in The Qur'an whom Allah loves:

5- Al-Tawabeen (Those who constantly Repent)

Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves

(2:222)

6- Al-Sabireen (The Steadfast / Patient)

And Allah loves the steadfast

(3:146)

7- Al-Mutawakileen (Those who Trust and Rely on Allah)

So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].

Loving and Visiting Others

Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said:

"Allah said: My love is due to those who meet for My sake, visit one another and make any effort for My pleasure."
