I saw this saying written with some other inspirational sayings. I liked it and wanted to share it with you. I realize it isn't Muslim scripture but it has good to say.
If any of you know other Arab proverbs, please add to this thread with those and I would be pleased to read them. With Regards, God is Love |

I descided to look at this post today because I was anxious to see if there were any proverbs added. I gain so much wisdom from Proverbs like the one I posted, I was hoping for more. When I looked, you surprised me with more wise sayings. I was delighted and read them and gained more wisdom, thanks to you.
I also loved your personal greeting to me. Just saying "Hi" made me feel good. You have lifted my spirits and given me some much needed strength for today. ![]() I love the Proverb "Dwell not upon thy weariness, thy strength shall be according to thy desire" and "Examine what is said, not him who speaks" That is true. People aren't perfect and yet they may have pieces of truth so when a person wants to share, it's a good idea to think about what is being shared. It may hold some truth and provide us with some wisdom that may be useful in our lives. If you have more PLEASE add. I write them on a paper that I keep of wise sayings. I didn't have much time today to respond but you have made it worth my time. |
