Shavu'ot time in Richmond!!
To any Richmonders...and really anyone in VA interested...Next Saturday is the second day of Shavu'ot so i was wondering if anyone would like to join me at Temple Beth El for morning Shabbat/Yom Tov services???
I thought it would be easier to post it than PM cause...well...i don't know who would be interested! If you don't know what Shavu'ot is it is the holiday commemorating the giving of the Torah at Mt. Sinai to Moses and the Nation of Israel...more about it in the link provided above. If ya'll can, it's cool, if you can't...well...that's ok too. Just thought i'd throw it out there...see what sticks!

What time would it be? If it's this Saturday the 27th, I might be able to, but I'm helping some friends move that day. If it's June 3rd, I've got soccer with my daughter all morning. But I'll see what I can do.
Also, what should we wear?

Alas Sat. 3rd is the last day of Shavu'ot (but my invite still stands Amy for this Shabbat
 )Beth El starts at 10 am...usually runs till about 12:30ish and then there is a kiddush...usually it's a light snack thing...but if there is a bar/bat mitzvah it may be a real meal!!  ummm what you would wear....i guess...what one would wear to church i guess...it's a conservative shul so ladies can where dress slacks or dress pants and such if you want to.
