I never got that far West, but I truly loved London and Kent. My wife and I have never been treated better by folks than in Kent. I remember telling a young fanatic at oir B&B that I hoped to get to a cricket game but know that I'd be hopelessly lost. He was leaving for Wales that morning, but he took the time to pick up an appropriate book and leave it at the door of our room. The whole trip was like that. If I could retire near Sissinghurst and still get to see my grandkids, I'd do it in an instant.

cricket is a wonderful game; actually, it was invented to confuse everyone else, so as to make the British Empire more impressive.

I am joking; it is quite an easy game to understand, once you get down to it. My parents very nearly settled in Canterbury. The countryside there is beautiful. If you ever decide to visit, do let me know.

Why do they call an ape rescue centre "monkeyworld?" Monkeys are no more apes than cats are canines.
