I can't comment on the factual information of your article but guess what... MLK was human and like all humans he had his faults. It is natural for us to want to idolize our heroes. The message and what he accomplished is all that ultimately matters. If Jesus came a couple of decades ago instead of thousands of years ago we would probably have a bunch of dirt on him too.

Plagiarized sermons, really? He was speaking with the intent of communicating and inspiring people it really doesn't matter if he based his sermon on another sermon , the bible, patristic sources, or anything else for that matter. Sermons generally are not copyrighted for good reason. If a message is important people are supposed to repeat it.
