But it seems at least she isnt considered something to "repel"...

She definately shouldnt suffer medical diffulculties to keep her "goddess status"..But she also shouldnt be chopped into pieces and have to have 30 or 40 surgeries for "cosmetic" reasons.....

There is no dearth of efficient surgeons, India has some of the best in the world. And the treatment can be done without any cost to the parents (as this will bring fame and experience to the operating surgeons). Even in the first case, the operation took some 28 hours, and some 36 doctors participated in the operation. But can the operations be done? And how many would be required and how long will it take? I suppose the intitial investigations must already have been done. For the moment, I do not resent her being worshiped as a Goddess. Her parents are not from rich strata, it can probably help them.
