I think that karma impacts us because there are babies born with birth defects, some are born into poor homes, some into rich homes, some to loving parents and some to abusive parents...

It is probably due to genes, or due to harmones, or due to infections, or due to smoking, or due to the environment where the person worked, or due to the impurities in his/her food? Do you think it is because he/she might have done something bad in a previous birth?

Good, so why do u think some are born with bad genes or hormones or infections etc?

Remeber there must be a cause to all this.

Putting everything to probability and bad lucks simply does not make sense. Karma is the only logical explanation to this

Exactly! God is a just God and would not randomly choose people to suffer like that. He isn't trying to be a bully and make us suffer but if we do wrong things there must be consequences. For every action there is a reaction. It's the law of the universe.
