Manu Smriti (creation, verse, Hinduism)

Im hearing all sorts of stuff here. I hear noble verses and then i hear the inhumane terrible verses...What was there first...goood or bad???

Manu Smriti along with some puranas, such as Skanda Purana and Bhavishya Purana are the most interpolated books of Hinduism. The interpolations were for the benefit of brahmins, kings, and those who considered themselves to be endowed with super-human wisdom. Hindus disregard such interpolations and focus on the good things mentioned in these books.

The Vedas are the authority on Hinduism. They are Shruti texts (what was heard). The Vedas are manifested at the beginning of each cycle of creation, reabsorbed at the end of each cycle and remanifested again for the next cycle. The first Sages by meditating, heard the sounds of the universe and heard the Vedas. The Vedas are from Brahman, not human beings.

In the Manu Smriti i read really bad and really good verses, i dont know what was there first or just added later, i want the good stuff obviously

You are right again, disregard the bad verses, that is what hindus would do.

You disregard the bad ponly because some of them are not for the age of KAli and are for that specific Yug.Read the Bhagwat, Gita and teh likes for the rules of KAli etc.,
