Vedic and Hinduism (ritual, reject, Earth, tradition, evolution)

Friend Gnostic,
There was nothing called Hindus in ancient times.
Th epeople living in this region understood and realised what is god and then over few centuries various meditators or researchers worked on various aspects which they put down in writing but they never used their names as contribtors because whatever they found was from the very source they are part of that is god or existnec. These texts were called VEDAS.
It was only when Alexandar came to conqure and he did not know what to call these people that he called HINDUS as he came by crossing the river SINDHU and since the greeks could not pronounce it prperly it sounded hindu and so it stuck but otherwise hinduism is not a religion it is a way of life for prople living in this region; wherin the vedas various ways are mentioned and it encompasses all religion or ways or paths to reach / understand / realise god/ energy/tao/etc.
