Alrighty... one of the biggest obstacles I have for healing from previously mentioned very bad experiences is my inability to get angry about it. I can certainly get angry about other the same thing befalling others. The only thing I can feel regarding it is terror, all other emotions are numb... it's like the emotions from those experiences are on endless loop whenever I tap into those memories, purposefully or not, and cannot experience any new emotions regarding it. Any suggestions would be welcome and I would be happy to answer most any question regarding it.

I wasn't making a cheap shot I actually meant it. I can annoy anyone to anger, and that's what you asked. I'm not joking I can be immensly annoying, you'll either find me funny, get angry, or run for the door.

Holy ****. I'm already angry!
But maybe getting angry isn't the right way to feel about it. I know that my fianceé had a similar thing happen but she can get very angry and even vengeful about it. I guess that's her way of coping. Maybe anger isn't your method of coping. I wish I knew what to do, but all I can think of is how angry I am right now. If someone did it to me, I'd probably want to kill them. But fear usually negates anger. I really wish I could help ![]()

Hi evereal, I'm not sure that getting angry is what you need, but it very well might be. (I sure get angry thinking about what happened to you!). My suggestion is to find a friend who is a good listener, someone who does not try to sooth or solve, or put their own stuff in, but really listens to you tell your story as many times as you need to, in a private place. I would pick an older friend who has more experience facing strong emotions without getting flustered.
