Yes, in general. Certainly, there are different categories of hasidic stories. But for the sake of a thread about sharing one's favorite things from an already limited genre, why limit it even more? Better to be inclusive. If you have a favorite story and that story is hasidic, share. Even if it's not hasidic, but could be, share. Like if it's a story about the Dubno Maggid, or about a neo-hasid like Heschel or Buber. Or even if it's a made up story in the style of a hasidic story. I know of one rabbi who writes such stories.
