Sacred Texts have posted a new literature on Gnosticism, titled The Gnostics and Their Remains, by Charles William King. It is actually from a old book, published in 1887. I had not heard of this Charles William King, have you?
It is mostly based on works of early Christian writers and on the Pistis Sophia. This book is some time before the Gnostic texts were found at Nag Hammadi, Egypt, in 1945. He also go on about the Templars and Freemasons too, judging by the Table of Contents. I have not read it, but I thought people might be interested in it. It would be interesting to compare what King knew and what the Gnostics actually wrote.

Do we really know what the Gnostics were, then? Playing devil's advocate.
