The Hellenistic period ended at the death of Cleopatra

Cleopatra was also the last of the Ptolomaic Dynasty which was founded by Ptolomy. Ptolomy was a close friend to Alexander. Just thought I'd finish the thought process. It is speculated that Alexander's tomb was laid to rest in Egypt under the care of Ptolomy which I find interesting because his rulership was the only one that wasn't plagued with problems. According to Macedonian legend, the king must be buried in Pella by the new king or there will be hell to pay. Interesting isn't it? I love Alexander the Great.

Now, as for the actual topic at hand! I know a number of Luciferian Gnostics. I'll put a few links to my forum up so you guys can check it out if you're curious. In fact, if you're curious, you can check out the whole thing. It's not like there's a lot to wade through or anything. Well, their fundamentals are similar. Rejection of the God of the Old Testament in favour of something better.

In your case, Lucifer who rebelled against the slave like life he was created for and instead chose free will. You choose Lucifer and you choose someone who will accept you, sins and all, someone who cares for you because you side with him. You side with freedom over subjugation.
Your path is free, without constant judgement because Lucifer accepts that you are human and make mistakes. Would this be fair to say, or am i totally wrong?

As Gnostics we also chose freedom. Freedom from the illusion the Demiurge tries to blind us with. We seek union with the highest power, we don't seek reward or saving from punishment, we seek enlightenment.

You are correct. It goes a little deeper than that, but everything you said is true. We believe that Lucifer not only rebelled against the slave like life he was created for, but that, out of his love of humanity, he set us free from this as well by acting under the guise of the serpent in the garden of eden.

As Gnostics we also chose freedom. Freedom from the illusion the Demiurge tries to blind us with. We seek union with the highest power, we don't seek reward or saving from punishment, we seek enlightenment.

*nod* I understand exactly where you are coming from. Enlightenment is everything...it is the reward as well as the journey. In fact, I often find myself using the term gnosis for a lack of any better word. It really describes what Luciferians strive for.

That's interesting. So Lucifer is a product of Sophia? (i mean this in the mythological aspect as well as the allegorical one... that is, if there are allegories to be made! )

Heremeticism is the Gnostic Equivalent. Found by I believe a wisdom teacher of Egypt. That is your Pagan version of Gnosticism. Here in fact is a graphic to help you understand it better.
