This is for my Atheist friends:
Atheism is NOT a religion. Neither is Theism. They are concepts, not religions. A relgiions can be theistic or atheistic or something in between. And for my Spiritual friends: The way I see it, this is the difference between religion and spirituality: Spirituality- a search for or connection with nature, spirit or the Divine that is personal and allows for an individually developed perspective of reality. Religion- a social institution that dictates order, rules, and a specific interpretation of reality. Of course, that's a generalisation ( ) and just my take on things.

They don`t exist, they`re really just heavy mescaline users.
I had to go look up apophatic. Stop using them big words I don`t understand! The RF spellchecker doesn`t even understand it!

If it's any consolation, I would not know there was any such thing as apophatic mysticism if a friend of mine wasn't writing a book on it.

What is your obsession with naming one? What is the relevance? Does the fact that I can't show you a blue horse mean that the existence of a blue horse is impossible? Not last time I checked. What we're discussing here is whether or not a term can be used a certain way. It might be easier if you think of it as a hypothetical. Hypothetically, someone could label him/herself a Christian atheist and make perfect sense. Any chance you want to stop hiding behind this weird argument of yours now?
