Indeed, esoteric clap-trap is defined by the person and context, not necessarily what they are regurgitating.

I'm not regurgitating anything...
merely using simple and small words to convey extremely complex concepts....

Why use a thousand words, when a few will convey everything?

Words are ways to convey consciousness, concepts. Words themselves are meaningless.... when describing something, words only approach something.
Why be verbose in your writings, when only a few words can do everything... in fact arguably the more wordy we are, the further away we move from that which we are conveying in the first place.....

A simple example would be the telephone composed of string and tin cans....

I should stop...

I don't think regurgitate means what you think it means. Perhaps you should figure out what concept I'm conveying before responding.

snappy comeback....

but adds nothing to the conversation whatso ever

Ok, I guess strictly I am regurgitating, but frankly
again, why use a thousand words, when someone has said it far better than I
in less than 20 words?

I would say, doing so is a waste of time.

The term "Christian" means "Follower of Christ".

I have no trouble seeing how an atheist could indeed use Christ as a role model to emulate.

Some people just seem to seek out being offended, which does no more for avoiding arguments than generalizing does.

There certainly are plenty of clear cases of incorrect, broad generalizing, but the lack of intellectual merit of those posts generally discounts them as a serious topic of debate anyway.
That might sometimes be the case but I've debated with people who know very little about Hinduism and when I say -well that isn't the case in my religion- they won't or can't accept it because they have this weird idea that 'religion' must only translate to a certain doctrine or concept. We've already had some replies in this thread that expose a strange view that -all- religions are 'this' or 'that', which just isnt true. If somebody in a debate that I am participating in makes a generalisation implying -all- religion I get annoyed because for one, I don't know if they are or are not including my religion and two, it discounts me (or makes my beliefs seem less important in the conversation) and I happen to be a participant of the discussion.
