What Is The "Traditional Family", And How Is It Under Attack?

Okay, I'm sure that we disagree in some ways, but I suspect that it'd be more in the details.

Anyone else? Anybody care to take a crack at what a traditional family is, and what's attacking it?

Divorce is obvious since it breaks up the family, but how are these other factors threatening traditional families?

gay's break "rule 2"
the overly feministic wo/man will try to become as "equal" as possible even at the expense of the marriage (tends to break "rule 3")

According to the Old Testament of the Bible, the traditional family is polygamy.
And we are all destroying that by having marriage of one man and one woman.

The term "traditional family" has absolutely nothing to do with how families were in the past.

It has to do with what they currently want family to be.

The same is true with the term "traditional marriage".
It has nothing to do with what marriage was in the past and everything to do with wat they want marriage to mean now.

How do they break these rules? Not all gays fall into the butch lesbian or camp queen stereotype.

Chapter 28 of Deuteronomy...follow these teaching( laws, commandments ) and things will go well for you, do not follow them and you will have all the following problems....( it is a long list )

Women " voted" in scripture ( selection of first king " Saul"), they held property ( proverb 31 ),no one spoke in the temple except priests and singers,bondage was voluntary ( for a prescribed amount of time )in order to get out of debt, children learned their father's occupation and everyone did farming.

The "traditional family" is an ideal. That is why you can't get a strait answer. It's not real. I'm not saying that its a bad one, it's just in the wrong hands. Using religious edicts like glue to hold a family together, and define "what makes a family" is preposterous.
