i would like to start saying something on my mind about 'the other'.

who is the other for you?

if you are willing to divide people in 2, i would suggest you to do it humanely. you have dozens of options and labels to do it. however only one of them serves humanity. it is arrogance and ignorance for a Pagan to divide people in 2 as Pagans and Theists. it is the same arrogance and ignorance for a Hindu to divide people in 2 as Hindus and non-Hindus. as we may never find all Christians to be angel-like, we would not find all Buddhists as peace makers. there would always be mischief makers in every single nation and in every single belief. so if you should divide people in to to see the other, please do that divination as peace makers and mischief makers. because this is the reality. if you are willing to label all members of one religion, unfortunately you'd be making mischief. the worst part of it is that blaming the religion and its members all together would only give excuse to small amount of people among them who's willing to make mischief. so to speak, you'd add that chain of vendetta. as a result, the ones who get hurt would mostly innocent women and children. if terrorist members of each belief could kill each other i guess there would be peace on Earth already. but it does not work that day. cold-blooded murderers of both sides kill innocent alone.


my motive to make this thread is a member of RF who's willing to insult Islam in every aspect he could think of. for me, this is not about winning a debate. because nobody wins. we all lose. people who's willing to insult a religion is not humane and is not helper of peace. if i insult Christianity for example, every ugly, dirty and unacceptable word i say against that religion would raise a wall between members of two religions. in other words, that act i would never do can only tear masses apart. and that is the other for me and i would fight it whenever and wherever i see it. if there must be a other for each, and if you really want peace on Earth, then the other has to be acts that divide us which puts a barrier between us.

i recently read about history of India. what i found is the same thing i found in every bloodshed. VENDETTA! i can not blame any religion for vendetta and but i would blame those who wants blood alone and not peace.

When one considers the way these ideologies are implemented, it becomes still more obvious to what extent they are inherently violent and brutal. Yet, the truly important thing to note is the way of the Antichrist, and the ideologies linked to it, can be adopted by whole segments of society, despite all the terrible destruction they inflict. For that reason, it is most important to examine the way in which the system of the Antichrist brings society under its control. To reveal how that is done will be the first round shot in the war of ideas to be waged against that system. That is to say, that people do not suddenly become selfish, aggressive, ruthless individuals filled with hatred and a thirst for revenge overnight. As we have already seen, they can only be accustomed to the system of the Antichrist over time, in stages. The process begins when people first become conscious of their surroundings beginning the learning process, and it continues throughout their lives.

One of the most striking examples of the way in which the Antichrist makes people think that what is evil is actually good is the way they begin to regard violence, fighting and conflict as normal; or, as we have seen earlier, those who have convinced themselves and others that the most efficacious way of obtaining what they want is the use of violence. We have so far looked at the kind of movement the Antichrist, the greatest purveyor of discord in the days leading up to doomsday, represents, and what kind of people are ensnared by it. In this chapter, we shall consider terrorism, one of the gravest contributors to this strife.


Although it is one of the most commonly heard terms in the world today, there is still no definition of it that all can agree on. One of the main reasons for this is that people who are regarded as terrorists by some, are regarded by others as those engaged in a just struggle. Whatever the aim may be, it is never possible to regard any group that resorts to violence and targets innocent people as just. Individuals or societies may desire different things, and these aspirations may be entirely valid. Yet, violence is not the way to bring them about. Force should only be used in self-defense. The fundamental strategy of terrorism is the spreading of fear, and by it to gain influence. Instead of working for their aspirations through more peaceable and reasonable means, terrorist groups turn to violence, which they regard is far more effective. According to them, the more ruthless and destructive an act of terrorism is, the more terrifying it is, in other words the nearer it will have come to achieving its aim.


One of the most dreadful aspects of terrorism is the fact that it is devoid of all moral values and recognizes no rules. People who turn to terrorism lack all love, affection, compassion and tolerance, and are solely governed by feelings of hatred, anger and revenge. Unconsciously, such people's intention is to relieve their anger and take revenge, without considering the result of their actions. The idea of the damage that their actions might result in causes not the slightest stirrings of their conscience. Because, conscience of the kind of person who regards terrorism as any kind of solution is obstructed, as, therefore, are his reason, foresight and understanding.

The people that God refers to as "evildoers" in the Qur'an are those who spread chaos and terror in the world, who scheme various plans towards that end, and side with evil. Such people refuse to recognize the limits set by God, refuse to live by the morality of religion, and have a tendency to sin and wickedness. As God says, "The evildoers are indeed misguided and insane" (Qur'an, 54: 47), the road taken by those who adopt that version of morality is a deviant one.

it is very clear that '...........' is a superior religion/ideology/belief.

IMO this kind of sayings are pure fascism. a person from any religion and any belief could say this. this is like body of fascism. THE NAKED TRUTH. even if you fill the blank with name of Islam (or Christianity, Judaism, Satanism, Hinduism...etc), the naked truth remains the same. dresses change and they mean nothing. those who condemn religion cos of actions of fascist people are doing wrong. they do not see what is really behind it. when we say, "each religion had committed crime, each religion killed innocent people...etc" we are missing the point. there are fascist people in every religion who hate believers of other. i hope someday people would realize that fascism has nothing to do with religion. does not really matter what dress it wears, the body is fascism. so blame it.
