Default Your thoughts on Atheist and the American Atheist Organization.
I'm a proud Atheist that finds Religion quite interesting. Through my life I grew up believing there might be a "God" but as in later times, I came to realize that more people believe in such a being for spiritial asperation. These are clearly my views. What are your thoughts on the American Atheist Organization? The same organization that stopped prayer in public Schools and gave people the right to not say "God" in context if they don't believe (pledge for example).

I think that's good... No one should be forced to pray or anything about god if they don't believe in it... for the same reason that if there was a child praying alone at school, he or she shouldn't be asked to stop. I think people should do what they want, and only what they want.

These are good things, there is a time and a place for prayer and that is not at school, well public schools at least. Be thankful that in America you do not have to go to a religious school to get a top education. Over here 9/10 private schools are religious based, churning out brainwashed robots every year.

I must say though, that I don't think it should be the purpose of "school" to pray. we got specialised 'buildings' for that. Nice is also that in those specialised building, not the vast majority wants to pray, but everybody wants to! Perfect!

Not to be picky, but nobody stopped prayer in public schools. The practice that was challenged was for school officials (as representatives of the state) to lead students in prayer. If students want to pray individually, no court, government, or anything else stands in their way.
