Friends,
Thank you all for your responses.
Everyone is correct in their own way.
The idea of asking this was again to have a common understanding of activities we all engage in but still differ in understanding.
The More Differnces that Break Down The More Shall We Humans Be United.
Prayer is surely a communication between the individual and the whole [god].
The One very central point which needs to be understood by all is that THOUGH we appear seperate BUT we are all part of the WHOLE and so we say God is every where. God is in everything including us. This prayer is the process by which we are trying to be ONE again with the Whole. [that is why we pray] Yes, since we pray to be one it is answered when we become one. Frankly the observation has been that everyone 's desires if they are dedicated about such desires then surely they are always answered in some form or the other.
Friend Whereismynotecard, - It is not necessary that everyone finds Prayer as the only form of connecting with the whole besides prayer for fulfillment of material needs are for people who lack in total understanding of the subject [mostly]
Friend Charity - Prayer is meant to be closer with god and nothing else really.
Friend Katzpur, The concept of father and child is not proper as we are part of that what we call god. Rather this god concept is created by huamns only. [Jesus was proclaimed as the son much before he was born and so do not feel he could have corrected it as that could lead to further complication at the time]

Friend Phasmid, Prayer has deeper reason and stress relieving is a side effect.

1. There is no reason to pray.

2. A vain attempt to communicate to a non-existing entity, and moments of arrogently thinking that such entity would actually care about what we have to say. (Assuming there is an entity in the first place)

3. You shouldn't. Learn to solve your own problems. Give it a try. It works from time to time.

4. My prayers have not been answered, but that's not the reason I'm an atheist. I don't hold grudges, and I certainly wouldn't hold one against an all-powerful entity if I thought one existed.

Agreement is again a MIND matter and merging happens in meditation which is when the MIND is still and is not active or involved in the activity of *Thinking*.
When you say you do not agree or agree both are of the mind.
