What Does Faith in God Do?

Faith is not just a feeling it's an action.Having Faith in God ,simply put , will have you LIVING by his word,by how he teaches you to live. Faith is almost like a skill.....Everybody is not capable of using Faith. If you have a product..say...a donut(you're own recipe) you're going to apply Faith to that donut. You're goin to market it.Learn everything about it and it's industry.And do everything it takes to show people that You're donut is the BEST donut out. People do it everyday with there clothing lines, purfumes, sports drinks. The Owner/Owners of "NIKE" , Live "NIKE" ... you not gonna see them in "Reebok".They have Faith in Nike....If you believe in God and have Faith in God, Then you are going to LIVE his way.

If you consider something beyond us you can say God did it and move on. Spinoza wrote something on the subject... I wont hunt down the quote right now.

Some people call it laziness... but the plus side is argued to be that you can stop thinking about it and move on to solving other problems.

How was the universe created? God did it. How was the earth created? God... Sun? God... Hmm life? God... Nuclear explosions? Satan... Arent there like theories and forumulas and project... hmmm manahattan behind the nuke? Nah... just satan worshippers whether they knew it or not.

Seriously it brings some people intense happiness... It has been argued that they are genetically predisposed to be that way. Historically we would torture, maim and kill those who denied god. Thus inadvertantly cutting down on reason as a means to survival. If you dont believe in what they believe in they will make you, and if they cant make you then they'll break you... The mindset is still there just now its being directed at terrorists, islamists and gays who want to get married.

Atheist are mostly safe now. Atleast in the North East US. Greydon Square who is an atheist rapper, has gotten death threats from the good christians of the bible belt. Isnt their crazy religious fanaticism cute.... (Lots of atheist still get death threats... last year some god fearing christians drove a family out of town when they found out they were atheists by burning crosses on their front lawn....) Fanatic fundies... Hey I dont judge all religion from the actions of a few... History though teaches us differently.

Ahh well. Belief in god led me to being lied to the majority of my life. Stupid half truths like if they really believe it is it lying? YES! It is. If you believe something that is proposterous and ridiculous then present it as such. Do not present it to a child with a somber manner and the threat of burning alive forever if you dont accept it. An exaggeration... but as a kid I wish they stopped selling crazy to me, I had enough other things to deal with then 7 hours a week of people endlessly spouting lies and reading from the bible as a guide to the rest of my life.

If you ever believed in God and studied him for yourself , He never forced anyone to believe in him and didn't kill everyone who didn't. He set apart a people ,to call "HIS PEOPLE" and gave Them His Laws. Man established his own rightiousness and called it the will of GOD, which is what you've experience, and which causes the behavior of which you speak.

My studies on god are quite extensive and have led to the conclusion that he does not exist. Illic Est Haud Deus.

Ok a god may exist but the god your talking about.. with his people and his laws and any personal god you can come up with... does not exist.

However I am open to your thoughts. Prove the existance of god.

Furbal is a "rewarding system". Whenever you liked a post you can give frubals for it. In real life this means people get frubals for humoristic posts, or just because they agree with someone. Some are given in games or just because they are friends. And the best ones are given because somebody learned from your post.

They get rewarded in money for "NIKE." If you weren't getting rewarded for your faith in God, or worse yet, you were going to burn in hell to infinity, would you still?

There are other ways to sell a product (such as a donut) besides quality. Price, availablility, advertising, the list goes on and on. Now let's take this into a religious context:

1. Price- The price you pay for faith is sacrificing all other possible beliefs. Not very expensive to some people. Some people really don't care about other ideas but thier own.

2. Availablility- Most religious people have faith because that was all they were ever taught by thier parents. Also, you have to consider the social pressures of being religious as being an impact on religious availability.

3. Advertising- When I went to church, I remember my pastor always telling us something before we left. And that was "spread the word of god as much as possible." Religious people push thier religion around like it was going out of style. Also, money, power, and political influence play a big role in religion's advertising.

Do you really think the CEO of Duncan Donuts really cares about his donut's quality if he knows people will buy them because of price, easy availability, and good marketing schemes?
