Faith in God makes me tolerant of things that would tend to annoy me

I don't. I'd rather date someone who doesn't believe in god, to be honest...

It helps some people reject other people's revelations and understandings about GOD.

Reading this thread it makes people better who cannot do it on their own. It also makes life "empty" to "fill" it again. But personally I just think it differs per person.

What have observed is that *faith in god* [blind] makes people stay on the right path of conduct, superficially. i.e. They would supress their desires saying to themselves that it is wrong.
Men of true faith [rarely found] walks without any fear. |

I think that depends on what the person in question decides to makes out of their faith.
In some instances faith seems to be a weapon, in others an expression of deep compassion. I think those two things are different even though the one word describes them both. I think faith is an opportunity - like all opportunities the individual has a big hand in what is made of it.

Greetings. It can do lots of different 'things' depending on the person; but, if faith and love grow such that union with God is realized, then too is eternal life realized, joy of being is manisfested, and life is conducted in agape.
