this is the reason i am against abortion, sure its usefull but realy the only fair way is to always let the baby be born or always kill it

il give some examples:
man doesn't know woman is pregnant, woman aborts baby, man finds out but he realy wanted the baby: hes screwed

woman has baby but man doesn't want it, man poisenes the unborn baby to kill it: baby dies before its considered a person, man gets away with it or man does a bit of jail time: baby is screwed, maby the man

man wants the baby woman doesn't, woman aborts anyway: man screwed
woman wants baby men doesn't, woman has baby: men screwed

as you can see with abortion the man is almost always screwed if the baby is just born it goes like this

men doesn't want baby woman doesn't want baby: baby gets put up for adoption: baby screwed
men wants baby woman doesn't : baby goes to the man at birth: woman screwed
woman wants baby men doesn't: baby goes to woman at birth: men screwed
both want baby : everything fine

as you can see this way everyone atleast gets screwed over just as much

Man agrees to abort woman agrees to abort...

Man goes with woman to get abortion..Man waits in waiting room reading News Week and People magazine while woman lay on table gettting the agreed upon procedure...

Man and woman leave together...

1. She would not get pregnant
2. She would terminate if she did.
If it doesn't turn out this way, he has to deal with the consequence of his action. Just like before abortion was available, women had to deal with having a baby they didn't want.

Who do you think should help support this child- especially if the mother is unprepared, unwilling or unable to do so by herself? Tax payers? Should she now be forced to have an abortion, if the man won't help pay?

I am not trying to be harsh here, just trying to work through the thinking. I guess the saying " you gotta pay to play" might fit.

It's not the consequences of their action though is it, that's my entire point, it's the consequences of her decision that he must deal with.

If she is unprepared, unwilling or unable to do so by herself, then her decision to keep it is all the more perplexing. She should think about the consequences of her decision too.

It's not right to force a woman to have an abortion against her will, just as it is not right to force a man to help raise a child for 18 years against his will.
It's also unfair that a man can have his child aborted against his will and it's unfair to expect a woman to give birth and raise a child for 18 years against her will.

Apparently there a quite a few jerks in the world..And Im sorry not man or woman should be called that..But its "extra" insulting when its only directed at the woman while the man was instrumental in making the desicion..As in my case..I had no man saying..."please we dont have to do this...it can be worked out...we will manage"...In fact it was the other way around..I was given all the reason why abortion was best for EVERYONE concerned..I was given zero positives or hope or encouragement that there was really any "better" alternative..

I think people frame most people who have an"abortion" as young dumb kids..or in non committed relationships automatically..

Someone said why should "the man" have to pay if he doesnt want the child and she has it anyway?.....Are you forgetting that married women have children that the husband says he doesnt want another one and would have her have an abortion if it was "his choice"....Lets say they have 2 already and he adamently does not want to raise a 3rd child. Should he not have to be responsible for the "upkeep' on the 3rd? And if you think he should?(have to PAY)..Why are his rights to walk away or be excused of any financial responsiblity as a married man any less than that of a single?Would that not be reproductive descrimination against married men?..Not t mention the child in question...That would be like punishing the child if because you are single you get to scape out on responsibility because he was concieved out of wedlock..Which the child has ZERO control over...
