Many religions have a group within that shares a similar mystical belief system. Islam has the Sufi's, Christianity has the gnostic view, Buddhism has Zen and Judaism has Kabbalah. Do you think that it's coincidental that these groups all share similar characteristics or do you think that they have found a message that is closer to the truth of their teachings?

All have a seem to have general belief in union with God and also tend to speak of God existing withing the "self" therefore requiring self inquisition in order to find the true nature of existence,
