I was wondering if we could talk about the blessings of GOD.
Does GOD bless people anymore? How would we perceive a blessing from GOD as opposed to something we do for ourselves or others? What is the criteria for someone receiving a blessing from GOD and does GOD bless people equally? Does the misfortune of others indicate that they did something against GOD to receive any blessings. How has GOD personally blessed your life and can you explain the last blessing that you received? and finally…… Is it really necessary for us to say “GOD bless you” after someone sneezes? |

People used to think when you sneezed evil spirits could get into your body, so when someone sneezed they were blessed to help ward off evil spirits.

Say like if I need extra money and no one knows it, but someone just happens to give me a gift of cash that is equal or exceeds that which I needed. I think that God can bless anyone, but I feel that He will certainly take care of his own children first. Wouldn't you Going against laws and morals lead to consequences, Usually a person has their self to blame for improper actions. If laws dictate that their should be a penalty, why should God reward them. Mercy and grace even when I don't deserve it. I have always said bless you, (I omit the word God) To me it is just habit to say that not really any religious intent to me with this expression, I could just as easy say "BLESS ME, BECAUSE YOU JUST SNEEZED ON ME" ![]()

Yes god blesses still.
He blesses to show his approval. Our mishaps make us suffer, either that or the fact that we bear the image of god. Its better to suffer for the latter. God has blessed me by being absolutely honest with me. Brutally honest. He has blessed me with fellowship with him He has blessed me by saving me He has blessed me for giving up that which i most wanted to keep He blesses those that love him He forgives those who repent, that is a blessing God does not bless us with what we want, but rather with what we need. God blessed me by giving me the logic to rule out his existence.

There's a difference? Ok fine "Satan" gave me the ability to rule out "Satan's" existence.
