I agree actually Katzpur, I would be more inclined to say that you do not know God, you cannot hate that which you do not know.

If the implication is that somehow you do these things deliberatly then I agree with you again. I would say it is the system of belief by which you have been duped rather than you or anyone as an individual.

It wouldn't appear so but I am wary about judging peoples intentions and motives it is God who searches the hearts of men.

I think *Paul* speaks for me on this very issue. We cannot judge the motive of another because we are unable to read the heart of another. Only God knows our hearts. I will say that those who are not in Christ are enemies of God according to the scriptures. I don't care if you are an Orthodox Christian, Reformed Christian, LDS Christian, Roman Catholic Christian, liberal Christian, non-denominational Christian, or Protestant Christian, etc. Unless someone is born from above and united to Christ, they are children of disobdience, children of darkness, chidren of the devil, children of wrath and are considered enemies of God, until God reconciles you to Himself through Christ. Here is scripture to support what I am sharing regarding being judge by another.

Wisdom From the Spirit - 1 cor 2

We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him"— but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:
"For who has known the mind of the Lord
that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

I agree that we shouldn't judge people's intentions or motives. I don't think it's our right to judge their relationship with God either. Look, I know you love Beth. Suppose you were to tell you how much you loved her, but were then to tell her how sad it made you to know that she hates God. Do you think she would see that as a loving gesture on your part, particularly if you continued to tell her that after she assured you repeatedly that she loved God with all her heart?

I'm saying that yes we need to think about Heaven, but while we are here we need to put ourselves to use as an example by love, understanding, and not making ourselves look puffed up , like we are something we are not. So therefore we are setting ourselves to be Heavenly minded, which is good, but of no earthly use to God as showing all the examples of a Christian to others....After all the things we do for Christ, is what the world sees, our actions is what they are watching. We shouldn't have to go around yelling "I'm a Christian, look at me" People should see something different in us without us having to say a word. People who never met Jesus knew instantly who he was. If we walk closely with the Lord, people may see Jesus in us.

I can appreciate the statement about your grandson, but that is not the type of earthly use I was referring to as you can tell by the post above. Thank you for your post anyway.

On one hand, I agree. But IMO we are at the very beginning of a long educational journey. It is better to reach out to the Father with the innocence and trust of a child than to take it upon ourselves to do good. Our personal efforts get between us and the Father's will.
