Maybe the historical Christian Faith is based on historical shared creeds and confessions of the Christian Faith? Within the historical Christian Faith, Mormonism is considered a cult (not used as a negative definition). The word cult when correctly defined should be received by LDS Christians.

It is good to note that modern day Pharisees will spend an inordinate amount of time telling everyone else why they are not a part of the body. They completely miss Jesus' favorite OT passage: I desire mercy and not sacrifice.

Stop biting other Christians! It's not scriptural and it does more harm than good.

Why don't you particpate on an all Christian forum site and see how well you are received? Start by sharing your view that Mormons are your brothers and sisters in Christ and see what happens. Then share your unorthodox view of the Scriptures. Please let us know what happens. We are called to speak the truth in love for our love for God, and the sake of others.

Could it be that the offense of the cross is not preached at Katzpur's LDS Church? Why does it appear the world (this site) seem to receive the Mormons on this site with open arms?

Somehow, I feel confident that your church is way better at being offensive than Katzpur's church. I take it you consider that a good thing.

Katzpur's church holds no appeal for me, in part because the leadership is virulently anti-gay even if many of the members aren't. But I must say I prefer their patient and longsuffering god to the wrathful monster many Christians seem to worship.
