From the reseach I have ran across the most evidence I have found as far as Christianty coping Paganism is that the mother Goddess has been found in all religion despite the name changes.

Practically everything in Christianity can be found in other religions, it was not a cult that occurred in isolation, but like most religions was a compendium of previous thought.
