Therapy. He or she needs answers and not questions
![]() No really, religion couldn't help me, besides with the things therapy would help me with. As that applies to me, I would automatically apply that to him/her as well..

its pretty hard qeustion couse if shes sane enough to not be religious she doesn´t need therapy
but if she goes religious to cure herself of the truth she does i suggest you give her time to come to peace with it ps. if she´s suasidal you are by law obliged to get her medical help

I'd recommend spiritual direction for someone who is seeking God, and therapy for someone who is seeking to be well. But I don't think religion, itself, fixes anything.

No matter anyone's opinion here, including mine, IF there is a god in heaven, we ALL need him.
God loves us all, even if we don't believe in him. I think he will speak to us in whatever way we'll listen. |

Since you need to determine the cause of these feelings, therapy should come first. Of course, therapy could lead you to religion. Religion can provide a sense of purpose and place in this vast universe if you can't find it on your own .

If a person was starving to death would you talk to them about God or would you feed them? You feed them first, and let them get strong and then you can tell them about God. The same would be for a person who is mentally ill.

If you're saying that recommending true religion to anyone is irresponsible and dangerous, I disagree.

I need no god, regardless of your opinion.
