There are no strange looking men on other worlds, only men and women patterned after the likeness of God (Jesus Christ) who created this world under the direction of the Father, who we are also created in the likeness of. The pattern is repeated over and over into the eternities with no end. We can also possibly assume Christ had a savior and his Father also, who is also now God, who was once a man, etc. etc. Last edited by FFH; 05-19-2008 at 04:43 PM. |

Ok, let me put it this way: Since you want to delve in to science, you need to be able to back yourself up with mathematical/physical proof.
I can prove that the 1st Law of Motion (It's spelled Inertia by the way): All motion can be described as a vector: a mathematical object that represents direction and magnitude (speed). Let say we have a particle that moves and we describe it's motion with the vector <3,4,5>. That means it is moving 3 units in the x direction, 4 along the y, and 5 along the z. Using Pythagorean's Theorum we quickly find that the magnitude (speed) of the particle is 5 units. Now, tell me, with the entire motion of the particle as <3,4,5>, where in there does it show that it will slow down or speed up? NOWHERE. The particle will continue it's motion along that vector with that exact speed forever. And as for your bit about initial motion, its very simple. The Big Bang. Something happened to the universe that caused it to expand suddenly, and every motion can be traced to that.

It's all too complex for life to be a product of random chance. It boggles my mind that people actually believe the universe was a product of random chance. Last edited by FFH; 05-21-2008 at 12:10 AM. |

Where did I say I believe that it was all random chance?
Oh, and the discovery of extremophiles shows that things don't have to be "just right" for life to exist. Life is quite literally everywhere.
