Yeah I read it. Did you read the OP? I'm refering to the Biblical Jesus and people's desire to add non-Bilical atribute to Him. You chose instead to attack the nature of the Bible and it's authenticity. Start your own thread.

The Muslim version of Jesus' "death" is actually the right one, you'll find.

In any case, people are free to make of JC what they will until the facts about the Gospel stories are made available to the public. Which will probably be never, in all likelihood.

Gautama Buddha and Mahomet were never deified traditionally, which is why no-one questions the historicity of them. But JC was made GOD incarnate, and thus, like Krisha in Hinduism different sects embrace different views of what he taught and the public superimpose their own ideas over those ideas, and that becomes tradition.

I'm going to get into a Bible lesson here. Very simply the Bible is clear that Jesus died willingly and as a scrifice for our sins.

Sandy, maybe you could give us an "accurate" description of the Jesus described in the Bible, so that we can tell when someone is arbitrarily just assigning attributes to him that aren't "biblical".
