Moreover, brother Pete, as this scripture clearly shows us, LOVE is the thing that saves. The sheep were going to heaven because they showed love to those in need, not because they did something for God with the hopes of getting a reward. And the goats were going to hell because they did not show love to those in need, regardless of whether they espoused the right theology. Jesus came to teach us that LOVE is salvific.
