Funny thing about those verses there, Pete. Not one mention of believing the right thing, praying the right way, or belonging to the right social group... All Jesus talks about is providing food and drink, clothing, and shelter for those who need it. And maintaining relationship with those who are outcasts - the sick and those in prison. Yep, really weird.

Moreover, brother Pete, as this scripture clearly shows us, LOVE is the thing that saves. The sheep were going to heaven because they showed love to those in need, not because they did something for God with the hopes of getting a reward. And the goats were going to hell because they did not show love to those in need, regardless of whether they espoused the right theology. Jesus came to teach us that LOVE is salvific.
