That's true, but the Crusades were still caused by religion, Christianity and Islam in particular.

Negative. Culture clashes still come down to individuals HATING other individuals. Although I have yet to read the Muslim Scriptures, I know for a fact that Christianity does not condone war.

So are you 'christianity' or a christian?

Because Bush and cheney are both christ believing folk and represent christian ideals as their preference of beliefs. I think I even remember one calling another form of religion the basis of the 'evil' within the extremes of the militants.

To you they don't. Unfortunately, to the people of those times, they did condone war. In fact, I know of many passages in the OT which not only condone war, but promote it.

They don't seem to pass the acid test for all Christians: "They will know you by your love".
