Incarnation means being born from above. It means that your spirit is sent to this earth from above.
Your spirit was not 'above' before christ.

You have an odd definition of "spirit." I would say that spirit is "above" by constitution, as the term relates the individual to God. And when you say "before Christ" I take that to mean in reference to Jesus appearing on earth. Otherwise, Jesus is eternal.

Your spirit was in prison, a dark place. When Jesus raised you up with him your spirit was raised to paradise.

But was I not "above" before I fell into the dark place?

Yes you were above before you fell into prison. You were with God. You did something to seperate you from God and hence you are stuck here. And hence Jesus had to come and save you.

Once you lived and walked with God, but then you fell from great heights. It was from this prison that you were born into this world the first time. You were not born from above though.

When Jesus died and saved you, he set your spirit free from prison, and took you to paradise. It is from there that you are incarnated. Born from above.

God created your spirit a very long time ago. It was free, free to be in his presence. But when you were seperated from him, you were banished from his presence. This is why God made a plan to save you. How great and wonderful is the mind and purposes of God.

I see. It seems like a different way of interpreting being saved. I wouldn't use the term 'incarnation' (avatara) in this sense though. I would just say that by coming to God, we transcend the cycle of birth and death (reincarnation).

Some people would argue about 'once saved always saved'. Paul must have know he was saved yet he said...he was running a race and he was aiming for the prize. The prize I believe is to finally go back to god, that would mean at that point you dont come back to earth anymore.

Though in order to return to god, one has to be incarnated. Which is different to being re-incarnated. Everybody is re-incarnated, but not everybody is incarnated (born from above).
