I agree that “not supporting homosexuality” is not the same as literally physically attacking someone. And I do believe that cystalonyx is wrong to categorize millions of Christians as gay bashers.

On the other hand, although I would not chose to use the term gay bashers I would point out that when people vote for propositions or for politicians that wish to limit rights and freedoms based on sexual orientation or gender what they are doing is an active expression of hatred that does cause actual harm.

ok, but have you ever thought that those people that are voting for those same proposals are causing harm to the people who are against them? You're always going to harm someone, one way or the other.

Then check your log..Make sure no log is hanging out your OWN eyeball..Like you may have a giant Live Oak tree swinging out of both your eye balls...So check on that..before you get a pair of twwezers and start plucking out a splinter in someone elses eye....Especially if you 'arent them'...

I would say it's an active expression of fear that does cause actual harm. Fear of the "Other." Fear of the unknown. Fear of change.
