If you fed your cat some Meow Mix once in a while it wouldn't have to play with imaginary mice.

That's what we give are cats and I swear they also(still) chase "imaginary" things.

As a child I had an imaginary friend because there were no other children where I lived however as an adult I find I really like to be alone and I am very happy that there is no one or anything watching me and if I thought there was I would see a doctor.

First post here.

Anyway, when I was in Junior High, I had about... 2 people I could truly call my "friends." I was beginning to break away from my family a bit, and I spent a lot of my time alone. At the same time, I was very superstitious, creating a religion based on select video games and childhood favorites, and calling myself a "prophet of Lady Liberty." (I am NOT kidding! lol) At the time, mind ye, I didn't know what a prophet really was, as I hadn't read the Bible, my family being relatively agnostic.

So, I could say that the article has merit, but I don't think it discredits religion, as most modern ones tend to follow invisible forces rather than inanimate objects.

In fact you did not do anything differently than people have been doing since the beginning of religion but at least you found something original because you believed it instead of listening to others. Good for you.

I'm thinking of that Looney Toons cartoon, when the two guys were really hungry, and they looked at each other, and saw a hot dog and and a hamburger, and started chasing each other.
