I was baptized in the Methodist Church as an infant, but I don't think I ever actually received communion till I was confirmed. I'm not positive about that; but I'm pretty sure.
In the Orthodox Church, infants receive Communion from the time they're baptized, and not just occasionally, but at every Liturgy.

I have mixed feelings about it
now, but certainly, when I was a Christian, that's how I viewed it, and I thought it was very important that children be welcomed into the full life of the community, including the Eucharist.
