You misunderstood Christine, I think, she means her parents are not evangelicals.

I was shocked and disgusted by it. I felt so frustrated watching the children and seeing, what I consider to be, abuse that is sufficiently accepted by society to put on television for entertainment.

Here's a quote from Levi, one of the main characters in this documentary.
"I really believe this generation is a key generation to Christ's return". Last edited by FFH; 12-28-2007 at 01:41 PM. |

These kids have minds of their own.
They are enthusiastic about what Christ has to offer them. The world offers them next to nothing, Christ offers them "Life more abundandly". John 10: 10 The thief (Satan/his angels/the world) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus Christ) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. How can this be a bad thing ??? They're not teaching the kids to hate, steal, kill or destroy in the name of Christ. They're teaching them good godly principles. Don't twist this thing around into something it's not. You, as many others, have a problem with it because you supposedly don't believe in Christ or his principles. Sort of. Most kids have minds that are motivated to please their parents than being completely autonomous.
I have not viewed the movie, so I can't honestly opine on the content of the film. However, there are plenty of notes from the movie that should stand to be challenged. Quote:
I applaud parents for their determination to raise their kids up in the best way they know how. However, calling children in to "battle" before they have the wisdom to discern this "battle" as a "spiritual" one instead of flesh-and-bones (IMO) is rather risky psychologically. Peace, Mystic |
