This is a scary philosophy. It means that any race can feel entitled to make a covenant with God since people believe it has been done in the past.

Though I try not to use Hitler too much in a debate, I do think that his quote demonstrates my point:

What we have to fight for is the necessary security for the existence and increase of our race and people, the subsistence of its children and the maintenance of our racial stock unmixed, the freedom and independence of the Fatherland; so that our people may be enabled to fulfill the mission assigned to it by the Creator.
- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 8

I disagree. Christianity does not concern itself with human warfare. It is about spiritual warfare.
I think too many Christians think spiritual warfare has to be fought materially. For example, I hear a lot about how we have kicked God out of the USA. So some people want to make sure we put him back through laws and coercion. It is no longer spiritual, but political. I think the same happens with war.

What makes you believe this is reference to Christianity... where is the Biblical authority to back up his claim?

I believe in separation of Church and State, because they are separate institutions... however that is different from the separation of God and State. God has been referenced as a part of our governmental institutions from the beginning.
