What do you think about religious fanatics? (beliefs, churches, faith)

This movie is a very good and interesting documentary, about what really hides behind the religion. What do you think?

Seen it, nothing new. As always an ounce of truth or a simple association and all christians are expected to denounce in a flash. God is greater than this. Zeitgheist is about control
Christ is about love and freedom.

You know, every faith has its fanatics. The extreemest muslims, who see blowing up buildings as a holy calling. The radical Christians who belive shouting from street corners is a way to recruit. The self proclaimed faithless athiests, whos very lack of faith is practiced like a doctranated religion, petitioning to get churches shut down, or keep children from bringing religious books to school.

You cant judge an entire religion by the acts of a few. Same as you can not judge the quality of a race by the acts of a few. It is called profiling, and no matter the reason, it is wrong. Stop trying to disprove others beliefs, and start living your own.

Some points, a little bit harsh. A believe female was just interested in opinions. She wasnt making any personal convictions.

Yes! You are right! I am interested in the opinions of other members about the documentary that I think that is very interesting. And I don´t believe that the information is false. I only would wish to know, what you think about the information of the documentary. But I have not making personal convictions.

If your ideology can be used to justify acts of violence, there is something wrong with your ideology.

Or your perception of right and wrong is skewed, or you have merely been taught to spout that drivel from a teacher in faith. To ascribe to a religious denomination is to be accountable for it;s actions and decisions!

There's at lest two other threads talking about this already. And all I have to say about this is, they no nothing of the mythology they use in the video.
