How could Mary have been a virgin? (Jesus, virginity, myth)

I believe the Jesus story is a myth, but nevertheless, if Mary and Joseph were married, how could she have been a virgin? Was someone keeping track of the bedroom activities?

Well, i dont think you can put it like that. I believe she had jesus after concieving with the Holy Ghost, i read that somewhere.

God knows, maybe someone did keep track, i mean, they did all sorts of crazy things in that time.

Quite so. The myth anticipates annoying questions like this. (eg., artless folk who wish to ridicule others for venerating a married woman as a virgin. I mean seriously, did you not think that they had accounted for this?)

I dont think its annoying, its something which has to be asked.

Also, im surprised you call it a myth, as a christian, dont you find that a little, well, insulting? (thats the only word i could put in, i didnt know any other word, hey im just 13...)
