If you believe that God is ‘Infinite’, then how can INFINITY be confined, interpreted, named, be owned, or reduced to any particular belief or faith?

I'm not sure what this means. Are you saying that if God is infinite then he is also infinity? Can't there be an infinity, such as in mathematics, which doesn't in and of itself have to be God?

If God is in all things then infinity is merely just another one of his charateristics, but it doesn't have to be his only one. Therefore, he could be confined if he chose to simultaneously exist in a confined form (Jesus?), he could be interpreted partially, he could be named if he gives himself a name (Ex3:14?) he could be owned if he owns himself.

He would only be unique to a particular group or faith if he made it that way. Which is an age old debate...

Whether he is infinity/infinite or not, this doesn't really change the basic religious landscape I'd say.

"Whatever is, is in God" and 'God' is the explanation of whatever. If I take it that "whatever" is infinite it does not necessarily follow that "whatever" need be confined, interpreted, named, owned or reduced. It does seem my ability to comprehend "whatever" is finite.

Neither God nor the universe are infinite but even so something that is infinite can still be interpreted, named, and owned.

It cannot in literal terms. If you pay attention you will note I never use the word infinite to describe "god". I think it is more likely that limited comprehension can only digest so much information and so people assume that something they cannot comprehend when comparing it to their own consciousness perceive it as being infinite. It's merely a random label that cannot EVER be verified nor disproven. In that way saying "god" is infinite is a relatively meaningless statement similar to "god is great". Neither statement actually tells you ANYTHING about "god" or the "god state". Likewise omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent are qualities that cannot be proven or disproved due to the illusive nature of the beast, as it were. It is all simple conjecture and even the three "omni's" don't tell us very much either.

Ever wonder why I don't follow any religion of man? That's easy. None of them have the foggiest idea of what they are talking about. Only the Buddhists had a working model way back but even they have eaten their loaves and are now left with crumbs.

But heck, what would I know?
