No-one knows, for sure. Maybe there is maybe there isn't. I think there is just he one, who has many faces and shapes, mistaken to be a different entity fomr hte original.

possible to spend a life time in a personal reality that ends with death. personal reality might change or develope by having new experiences. but reality that doesnot depend on us remains the same. sooner or later it shows itself to everyone. better to see it before we die. so reality is unavoidable fact.

well, you can make a statue and give a name to it such as tutu and then go out and kill someone and then when you're asked why you did it, you can say God tutu ordered you to do so. in a society where people believe in many Gods, who could judge you for that? that's how it was before Islam. this is also an example for personal reality. you can believe in it. but your belief doesnot make piece of rock God. you'd be just a person who put meaning into an object to justify your very own actions.

there is only one reality. i mean the real one, not man made. people could believe in many Gods. a friend of mine used to say this: everyone believes in his own God that dies with him. kinda right. instead of the Creator itself, one might establish his personal God and follow it till he dies. that would be his ego what he follows in fact. therefor it depends on person himself, his God would be anything he likes. he worships his ego.

Even the bible mentions other Gods so there must be more then one.
The christian God sounds more needy then the rest of them.
