False dichotomy. There's a third option: that you're mistaken. Lying implies deliberate deceit. You (or any of us) could be wrong and just not know it.

Actually, there's a fourth option as well: that you're mistaken AND there is a God. Even if your belief in the existence of God is correct, it might not be correct for the reasons you think it is.
