I was going to say that the only difference is that the IPU is not self contradictory, but then I started thinking, how can something invisible also be pink?

In that way, it is both invisible and pink.

The difference, besides Deity being a reasonable inference, is that belief in GOD lends itself to coherence and rationale and mirrors the concept of Self in each of us, whereas the IPU is an incoherent, irrational and selfless (for a human being) parody.
The other difference is that if GOD did exist, He would not likely be as open to plain and ruthless ridicule as the IPU if It actually existed. |

![]() But with all the answers here, I would have to ask a question about the OP. Belief in the IPU as a real god? Or belief in IPU as it is used mostly?
