When we contextualize this with the site youtube I really dont know how to argue. You tube has videos of ant farms and video blogs. People arguing for theism or atheism. 9/11 conspiracies and conspiracy debunkers.

Most of the time a hurtful statement is a misinterpretation rather then pure hatred and purposefully harmful. Occasionally it is the latter and you on you tube have the right to report a video and have it removed.

But hey freedom means a lot to me... I want to hear it all... good or bad.... Harmful, disrespecting, hurtful etc etc... I dont believe in the death penalty or in god. You reconcile the two.

I understand your point and I have no problem with it but in the name of the peace, happiness and freedom of the people here and freedom I never knew in my own country I can deal with a little censorship (that's as far as it goes) it is a lot more constitutional than the patriot act that stopped me from transferring my own money form one bank account to another.

No problem. I too am a gov. employee. I'm an IT guy that works for a local school system.... so I know about censorship and wanting to obey the rules. I'm can actually see them from both sides.

That video was not harmful or hateful, merely a point of view, if you are offended by that video then you are pathetic.
If you would sacrifice your right to obtain information, as that is what it was, to protect the peace then you deserve neither.
A pro christian government would have made that decision not a secular one...look out!

Someone might post and say 'Hmmm what about weaponry or bomb making information?' so I will just say now, use your common sense...if you can't distiguish the difference between that and a point of view then get back in your mother's womb coz your not ready.

Interesting, I was not offended, enjoyed learning some more symbolism - I agree the sun does represent the Son of God, by design:

Any “genuine article” worth anything is going to have a bunch of copy-cat knock-offs running around. It shows the worth of the genuine article that there was enough interest in it to try and imitate it. Jesus was known from the beginning, Adam knew about Jesus.

Adam taught his children about Jesus, some of his children fell away, but parts of their knowledge about Jesus were preserved.

Did the ancients create pictures of monsters out of the stars? Did they “create” a picture of anything they were completely unfamiliar with? They saw in the stars a picture of a bear, of a bird – because bears and birds do exist. When we read a book it tells us what existed for the person who wrote it, when we see what pictures they found in the sky, we find what actually existed for the people who made those pictures.

The idea of Jesus did not come from the sun and the stars, the idea of Jesus came first, and with the knowledge of Jesus, an actual person -( just as there were actual birds and bears that other constellations were patterned after ) - already in place, parents used the sun and the stars to explain what they knew to their children.

Sorry - I don't mean to get all preachy etc... it just seems to me that logically the real entity existed before people started drawing pictures of it.... yes there is such a thing as imagination, but if you find the same thing in multiple cultures through multiple time periods, it is more likely that there is truth in it somewhere.

I'm not sure this is correct. I think these deities are mentioned in history (before ) Yeshua was mentioned/wrote about.

The video should not be banned, but if I am not mistaken, Horus was not crucified, since that idea had not been invented yet.

Crucifiction on a cross was not always the normal method either. Of course, the whole Jesus story is a fable, along with the idea that his method of death had to be on a cross.
